This is me. It is weird to be on the other end of the camera.

I am thankful you took and interest to come this far. I have been photographing weddings for 20 years. I am an easy going guy that loves people. I think marriage is the gift of a beautiful journey with your best friend. I love to photograph people starting that journey - the joy, excitement, anticipation, the bringing together of family, and the fun. My approach on wedding day is relaxed, casual, unobtrusive, and friendly. Your wedding is about you getting married. It is not a photo session. A job well done is when the photography was fun and added to your experience. It didn’t detract from it.

I have photographed more than 300 weddings and countless events, families, senior portraits, etc. I absolutely love helping my clients feel comfortable and eager to take their photos.

Marriage is magical. It wraps two people up into something that is meant for a lifetime of loving, living, laughing, crying, growing, and caring for your best friend. I am so blessed I get to watch people enter into it - the joy, smiles, nervousness, and all out wild abandon. My wife calls it wild flower fever.

A little bit about me when not taking photos. I love to dirt bike, mountain bike, backpack, swim in rivers and the ocean. Get me in the mountains or in the desert for a sunrise and I am happy. Put a camera in one hand and cup of coffee in the other and we are firing on all cylinders. I love to wake up before sunrise and being outside the last two hours of the day. I love to write. Movies. Tell me a good story and I wont move until it is done.

I have been married for 25 years to my adorable wife. We have three kids and live on the California Central Coast. In this life there is LOVE and nothing else.
